Jean-Paul Beran (Executive Director)
We are grateful to welcome Jean-Paul Beran into the role of Executive Director. Jean-Paul retired in 2016 from a successful career in financial management, and since that time has been an active volunteer in his church, his children's school, and other community organizations. Leonard Wong (Operations Manager / JustCatering Manager)
Leonard has spent more than three decades in the hospitality industry, Toronto, Calgary, Hamilton and Winnipeg, learning everything from old school dining to the fast moving world of electronics and digitals. He moved up to managing all around satisfactions and maintaining businesses’ staying afloat. Now with a new journey, bringing the best attributes of humility, loyalty and dedication in a social enterprise: JustWork Economic Initiative, he recognizes the strengths of what the employees have to offer, delivering the best what JustCatering is all about. Christy Duguid (Grant Writer / Administrative Coordinator)
Throughout her life, Christy has been involved with non-profits and organizations working to help others. She has a passion for her family and a desire to reach others through writing. After earning her degree in Communications/Film from Judson University, she worked in the film industry in script development, finance and production. She believes in the important mission of JustWork and appreciates contributing to its meaningful cause. Contact Christy
Niki Holmes (JustPotters Manager)
Niki earned her diploma in studio art at Capilano University, and her fine arts degree from Emily Carr where she majored in ceramic arts. She loves pottery for its ability to bring beauty to everyday objects, and finds the process of working with clay to be therapeutic. Creating meaningful employment that makes real change in people's lives is what brought her to JustPotters. Contact Niki
Jason Bull (JustRenos Manager)
Jason began work with JustRenos in 2018. He is a distinguished carpenter who also brings extensive experience in painting and woodworking. Jason approaches each project with detail and professionalism. He communicates and collaborates with each client while balancing the strengths and needs of our employees. Contact Jason
Amy Anderson left a career as a litigator to study at Regent College, where she now serves ad Director of Communications and Public Engagement. Amy brings a creative and analytical approach to each project and delights in hearing and telling the stories that shape an organization.
Claire Perini loves people and brings passion for pastoral care to JustWork. She delights in walking alongside others and has a gift for encouragement and affirming signs of life in their stories. This passion finds expression in her role at Regent College as Assistant Dean of Students.
Eva Harden has over 10 years experience working with non-profits, in fundraising and public engagement. Eva is innovative, enthusiastic, and people-centered. Eva previously served as Partnership Development Coordinator for JustWork.
Jason Yourk works as a Senior Corporate Auditor with BC Liquor Distribution Branch. Jason worked in public practice for four years with Ernst & Young, and draws upon his experience working with public and private companies as well as with charities, to provide accounting and finance expertise.
Jonathan Hui is a Manager with Deloitte Consulting specializing in Technology Strategy. He has worked with numerous organizations providing solutions for complex business problems. Giving back to the community has been a passion for Jonathan, and he has volunteered his pro bono services locally and globally.
Russell Pinson (Board Chair) is currently a freelance editor and publisher. He previously served as head of Operations at Regent College's Marketplace Institute. Prior to that he worked as a management and IT consultant and offers JustWork experience in the integration of theology and work.
