ADVISORY BOARD

Tim Klauke (Board Chair) gives administrative support to the GCBC community. He also participates at a board level for Salsbury Community Society, JustWork and JustGarden. He has a background in community economic development and likes to catch salmon and grow garlic in his spare time.

Ray Norgren is a retired economist who spent most of his career with Weyerhaeuser Corporation. In addition, he has started a number of small businesses in his life—the latest is a B&B on Bowen Island.

Erin Thrift has a MA in Counselling Psychology from Simon Fraser University. She works for Athabasca University as a distance education tutor and is a full-time mom. Previously, she has worked as a career counsellor for those with multiple-barriers to employment.

Tim Dickau has been a pastor at GCBC in Vancouver, BC for almost 20 years. He has helped shape the congregation’s vision for extending and receiving the radical welcome of God.
