BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Tim Klauke (Board Chair) gives administrative support to the GCBC community. He also participates at a board level for Salsbury Community Society. He has a background in community economic development and likes to catch salmon and grow garlic in his spare time.

Ray Norgren is a retired economist who spent most of his career with Weyerhaeuser Corporation. In addition, he has started a number of small businesses in his life—the latest is a B&B on Bowen Island.

Erin Thrift has a MA in Counselling Psychology from Simon Fraser University. She works for Athabasca University as a distance education tutor and is a full-time mom. Previously, she has worked as a career counsellor for those with multiple-barriers to employment.

Tim Dickau has been a pastor at GCBC in Vancouver, BC for almost 20 years. He has helped shape the congregation’s vision for extending and receiving the radical welcome of God.

Dwight Dee is a lawyer, a partner in the Capital Markets and Securities group in the Vancouver office of Miller Thomson.

Debbie Hawker works for the local government. She brings strong communication and organizational skills.

Phil Wolfe is a retired marketing specialist.
